What a year! You all made 2018 a very special year for Midnight Scentworks.  It opened with a bang and never slowed down. During 2018, I was thrilled to able to put smiles on the faces of 305 brides-to-be and mommies-to-be!  I shipped bridal shower favors and baby shower favors to 32 states and Canada - whew! And soap!  Wow, did I make a lot of soap!   7,445 bars of soap, in fact, which turns out to be 2,326 pounds.  Over a ton of soap!  The boxed favors were a hit with my brides and moms as well.  I made...

I am lucky that when I started Midnight Scentworks I was in a stable country surrounding by supportive family and access to funds if I needed it.  But not everyone is so lucky.  Some women are trying to start businesses in war-torn countries.  They are starting out on their own in extremely poor, rural areas of the world.  I'm a firm believer, however, that this shouldn't crush their dreams.

During all the late nights, early mornings, and weekends that I work, I have to keep my eyes on the prize.  There is a reason I work so hard and sweat over every little detail of every single order.  Sometimes I just forget what it is.
