I'm never one to shy away from a challenge. So... welcome to the Midnight Scentworks blog!
In 2000 - the good ol' days - I posted pretty much daily in a now-defunct online journal called FebruaryStars.org. I wrote about all the craziness in my life - which was seriously crazy at the time. I have happy memories of that time, because through online journaling I met my husband of 11 years. But those days, like all good things, had to come to an end. Suddenly short-form random posts about pretty much whatever came in vogue, and these blogs never left.
Life is still a little crazy, and sometimes you'll hear about that. But mostly you'll hear about:
Bubbles are the name of the game here at Midnight Scentworks. I love bubbles. I loved them as a kid, and even now there's nothing more fun than running around with the kids blowing them. Unless, of course, it's climbing into a bubble bath at the end of the day with the bathroom door locked. Me time!
What in the world is that ingredient in your bubble bath that sounds so scary? And why is shea butter littering the ingredients list of many of our products? And slathering olive oil on your skin - really? Yes! Find out why some of the most scary-sounding ingredients are fabulous, and surprising new uses for what you have laying around your house.
What a psychological term! When we lead a crazy, hectic life, who has time to think about ourselves? You do! And you should. How can we carve out time for ourselves, and not go crazy in the process?
Baths and Books and Bubbly (Not the Kind We Blow)
More on this tomorrow. Stay tuned!
I hope you find more than you bargained for here at Midnight Scentworks. It's all about life's little luxuries - you deserve them!
